Urgently Needed - Eucharistic Processions - Eucharistic Adoration

"Our own belief is that the renovation of the world will be brought about only by the Holy Eucharist."
- Pope Leo XIII

"Christ's love for us: behold the Eucharist!
Love that gives itself, love that remains, love that communicates itself, love that multiples itself, love that sacrifices itself. The Eucharist is the love that unites us and the love that saves us."
Pope Paul VI

"Pius X knew no other road than the Eucharist by which he could arrive at heroism in his love of God. He knew no other road by which he could return to the Redeemer of the world, Who by means of the Eucharist poured out the wealth of His Divine love on humans."

Pope Pius X11

" Be witnesses to the love of the Eucharistic Christ, a love that spurs us on to unlimited generosity. It also spurs us on to total surrender to Him, and through Him to all those who seek Him with a true heart."

Pope John Paul 11

"What the world really asks of us is that the Mystery of Redemption be accessible to all, especially to the poor, the sick, children, the young, the family. It is precisely through the Eucharist that Christ's Redemption touches each person's heart, transforming the world's history."

Pope John Paul 11

"Today solemn exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is the grace and need of our time. Society will be restored and renewed when all its members group themselves around our Emmanuel."

12 Stars in the Crown of Mary Queen of Peace

The work of creating the Chapel of Perpetual Peace of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Niepokalanów was started in 2017. The creation of the Chapel was for many years the desire of the monastery and parish community, as well as pilgrims visiting this special place. Initially, it was expected that it would be a chapel serving the local communities and pilgrims. Design work commenced, commissioning the altar to Drapikowski Studio from Gdańsk. The concept of the altar arose.

However, God's providence had other plans. In 2017, the letter of St. Maximilian and read it in the context of the resulting altar design. Already in 1934 Saint. Father Kolbe wrote from Japan to Poland: "I imagine a beautiful figure of the Immaculate Virgin in a great altar, and against it a monstrance in the open exposition of the Blessed Sacrament."

That was the shape of the altar's conceptual design. This unusual event was a direct reason why the Communita Regina della Pace Association proposed in November 2017 that the eighth star should find its place in Niepokalanów. Father Provincial Wiesław Pyzio agreed to this. Implementation of the project was commenced, which required carrying out a number of construction works and employing many contractors, and the chapel had to be organized from scratch, because the sacristy had been in this room before. The works were complicated and difficult because they could not interfere with Masses and services held in the basilica.

However, no material work was the essence of the enterprise. His main goal, realized with full determination, was to build a spiritual chapel in the hearts of people. From the beginning, the basis of the undertaking was prayer, selfless prayer offered from the heart of people. Especially the parishioners of the Immaculate Order, but also the support of people from all over the country and even from the world was felt. The common goal of seeking peace in the hearts of people united all.

At the same time, intentions were collected from all donors, which were carefully collected, packed into a steel cassette and placed in the steps of the altar of adoration. These intentions, prayers and thanksgiving will stay here forever, as a sign of faith of the people involved in this undertaking. It is also the greatest gift for the generations who will make their prayers in this chapel. Lastly, the intention was made to pray for those who would pray in the chapel. As Saint wrote Maximilian: "whoever looks into the church, falls on his knees, adores, looks at the face of the Immaculate Virgin, goes away, and she and Jesus deal with him."

The essence of prayer for peace is its continuity in the world, independent of time zone, place and circumstances. Prayer is to flow constantly and change people's hearts so that they are full of peace. The Lord says: I will give you a new heart and a new spirit inside you, I will take a stone heart from you and I will give you a heart of flesh. Ezek 36.26.

Good Friday - Via Dolorosa ( called the Way of Suffering )

Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day
The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street
But the crowd pressed into see
The man condemned to die on Calvary.

He was bleeding from a beating - there were stripes upon His back
And He wore a crown of thorns upon his head
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for his death.

Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa all the way to Calvary.

The blood that would cleanse the souls of all men
Made its way through the heart of Jerusalem.
Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering

Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road out of his love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary

Run With Life: We know the world is upside down when this happens...

Run With Life: We know the world is upside down when this happens...The Coronavirus is here. We have people dying all over the world from this horrible pandemic. The world is shut down because of it. Financial markets are in free fall. People have lost their jobs. People of faith are prevented from attending their Church services, their Mosques and their Synagogues. Catholic Christians are prevented from receiving the sacraments including reconciliation, baptisms and the sacraments of the sick for the dying. We can't even enter our churches for private prayer, even if we follow all the social distancing rules.

So what are the pro-abortions up to here in Canada? Unlike many US states, Canada is pathetically still performing abortions. None of the rules the rest of us have to follow apply to killing babies.

In fact the Abortion Rights Coalition of Canada has put out a fundraising call for Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights.

Holy Week 2020 - Monday - excerpts from the Mystical City of God

I received this message this morning  ( below ) from Father Hezuk Shroff. Pastor Saint Catherine of Sienna Parish Metcalfe ON Canada.

" I have put together a PDF document containing excerpts from the Venerable Mary of Agreda's beautiful work, "The Mystical City of God." The title refers to the Virgin Mary, who is the Mystical City in which God dwells more fully than in any other place. Venerable Mary of Agreda was a Spanish nun who lived in the 16th century. Her private revelations are approved by the Catholic Church.

I thought that you might find this useful for your meditation during Holy Week. The passages in this document speak about the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Our Lord. They are from an abridged version of the Saint's work. The full version contains four volumes and is much longer. This excerpt is from the third volume, called "The Transfixion", which is a reference to Our Lady's Dolorous Heart that was pierced ("transfixed") by a sword during the Passion of her Son.

Please feel free to pass this along to anyone who you think might be interested and who might profit from it during this Holy Week. This text is out of copyright, so it can be freely distributed.

God bless!'

Palm Sunday April 5th 2020

Today  I made a little altar on the small table next to my living room chair and watched the Holy mass on my i pad. It's the first time in my life that I wasn't able to attend mass on Palm Sunday. Seemed very strange but God is everywhere and he was with me of course as I prayed with Jesus, Mary and Joseph by my side. Halfway through the mass I remembered I had a little palm plant so I added it to the altar.

later on I listened to Cardinal Collins being interviewed by CTV reporter Lisa Laflamme below

Matt Fradd's Night Prayer

This video is beautiful.
Near the end of it Matt sings an amazing song of praise and thanksgiving and repentance to God. I made a separate video below with just the prayers but you should really watch Matt's video. You can just feels God's presence when he speaks.

Evening  prayer which Matt  prays with his family

Matt's night prayer (transcribed)

+ In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

O God, be merciful to me a sinner.
O God, be merciful to me a sinner.
O God, be merciful to me a sinner.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Glory to you our God, glory to you.

O Heavenly King, console us. O Spirit of Truth, present in all places and filling all things, the treasury of blessing and the giver of life, come and dwell within us; cleanse us of all stain and save our souls O Gracious One.

Holy God,
Holy and mighty,
Holy and immortal have mercy on us.

Holy God,
Holy and mighty,
Holy and immortal, have mercy on us.

Holy God,
Holy and mighty,
Holy and immortal, have mercy on us.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever, Amen.

O Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord forgive us our sins. Master pardon our transgressions. Holy One, look upon us and heal our infirmities for Your Name's sake.

Lord have mercy,
Lord have mercy,
Lord have mercy.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever, Amen.

Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name,
Thy Kingdon come, thy will be done,
On Earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and
Forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil,
For thine is the kingdom and the power,
and the glory of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
now and always and forever and ever, Amen.

Lord have mercy,
Lord have mercy,
Lord have mercy.

Lord have mercy,
Lord have mercy,
Lord have mercy.

Lord have mercy,
Lord have mercy,
Lord have mercy.

Lord have mercy,
Lord have mercy,
Lord have mercy.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever, Amen.

Come let us worship God our King and bow down before him. Come let us worship Christ God our King and bow down before him.
Come let us worship Christ our King and our God and bow down before him.

O Lord, Heavenly King, Consoler, Spirit of Truth,
have compassion and mercy on your sinful servant,
and pardon my unworthiness,
and forgive me all the sins I humanly committed today,
and not only humanly, but even worse than a beast,
my voluntary sins known and unknown from my youth,
and from evil suggestions and from my brazenness, and from boredom.

If I've sworn by your name or blasphemed it in thought,
blamed or reproached anyone, or in my anger have detracted anyone,
or slandered anyone, or grieved anyone,
or if I've gotten angry about anything,
or have told a lie, if I have slept unnecessarily,
or if a beggar has come to me and I have despised or neglected him,
or if I have troubled my brother or quarreled with him,
or if I have condemned anyone, or if I have boasted,
or have been proud or have lost my temper with anyone,
or if when standing in prayer, my mind has been distracted by the glamour of this world,
or if I have had depraved thoughts, or have over-eaten, or have drunk excessively,
or have laughed frivolously, or have thought evil,
or have seen the attraction of someone and have been wounded in my heart,
or said indecent things, or made fun of my brother's sin when my own faults are countless,
or have been neglectful of prayer,
or have done some other wrong that I cannot remember for I have done all this and much more,
have mercy, my Lord and Creator, on me, your wretched and unworthy servant,
and absolve and forgive and deliver me in your goodness and love for men so that lustful and sinful and wretched as I am, I might lie down and sleep and rest in peace, and I shall worship, praise and glorify your most honourable name with the Father and His only begotten Son, now and always and forever and ever, Amen.

It is truly proper to glorify you, O Theotokos, the ever-blessed and immaculate and the mother of our God. More honourable than the cherubim, and beyond compare, more glorious than the seraphim, although being a virgin, gave birth to God the Word, you, truly the Theotokos, we magnify.

All my hope I place in you, O Theotokos, keep me under the wings of your protection. Into your hands O Lord Jesus Christ my God, I surrender my spirit, soul, and body.
+ Bless me, save me, and grant me eternal life, Amen.

Sanity prevails in Ohio - abortion declared non-essential service

Ohio AG orders providers to cease surgical abortions during pandemic, Planned Parenthood insists abortion is "essential" - NRL News Today
By Lisa Bourne

Ohio’s attorney general has ordered two of the state’s abortion providers to stop performing surgical abortion to conserve personal protective gear during the COVID-19 outbreak, the order applying to abortion facilities statewide. At the same time the nation’s largest abortion business put forth the claim that abortion was “essential” and would continue at its Oho sites.
Attorney General Dave Yost sent letters on Friday to two facilities — Women’s Med Center in Dayton and Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio’s Cincinnati Surgery Center — ordering them to stop conducting any procedures, such as abortion, that require the use of personal protective equipment.

Legion of Mary - Acies Ceremony

This year, in lieu of the annual Acies where we reconsecrate ourselves to Our Lady
on the feast of the Annunciation we are recommending an alternative to us gathering for the ceremony. This year we are hoping you will join us in doing a Spiritual Acies.
These prayers in a sense are going to take the place of the spiritual portion of the Acies.
Everyone will be on their own doing this in their own homes.

PROGRAM for Wednesday 25 March:

At 6:30 pm we will begin with the opening prayers in the Tessera,
followed by five decades of the Holy Rosary.

Then right after we will recite the Catena.

Then in front of a statue or image of Our Lady we will renew our consecration to Jesus through Mary by reciting the following prayer: "I am all yours, my Queen, my Mother, and all that I have is yours."

Then recite the concluding prayers in the Tessera.

At 7:30 pm EST please pause and recollect as
Father Shroff will recite an act of consecration for the Regia as a whole.
If you do join us in this Spiritual Acies,
we would love to know so would you kindly reply to Jennifer Snell Jennifersnell2000@yahoo.ca

March 24, 2020 - Urgently Needed - Prayer and Repentance

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."  2 Chronicles 7:14 New International Version

Evangelical Fellowship of Canada calls for a Global Day of Prayer and fasting

My hope is that all our political leaders, would start to recognize that we are nothing without God. I feel a sense of urgency about this. Prayer and repentance is so very important right now and fasting if you are able. Here in Canada, we have all but abandoned God. We need only think of the  attacks on human life, young and old alike. Now is the time: now the hour to turn to Him in prayer and beg Him for His mercy.

The words below are taken from
Message on the Combat against the Coronavirus, COVID-19ON MAR 21, 2020 by Cardinal Burke

"In the same light, a person of faith cannot consider the present calamity in which we find ourselves without considering also how distant our popular culture is from God. It is not only indifferent to His presence in our midst but openly rebellious toward Him and the good order with which He has created us and sustains us in being.
We need only think of the commonplace violent attacks on human life, male and female, which God has made in His own image and likeness (Gn 1, 27), attacks on the innocent and defenseless unborn, and on those who have the first title to our care, those who are heavily burdened with serious illness, advanced years, or special needs. We are daily witnesses to the spread of violence in a culture which fails to respect human life.
Likewise, we need only to think of the pervasive attack upon the integrity of human sexuality, of our identity as man or woman, with the pretense of defining for ourselves, often employing violent means, a sexual identity other than that given to us by God. With ever greater concern, we witness the devastating effect on individuals and families of the so-called “gender theory.”"

Thankfully some of our Government leaders are acknowledging our dependency on God:

“The disease is not an ordinary one and it demands spiritual solution to send it packing. Several terrible epidemics in the past had always been tackled through spiritual means even when there was no medical or scientific know-how," Adetoyese was quoted as saying.
