A Place in the Choir
[Chorus]
All God's creatures got a place in the choir,
Some sing low and some sing higher,
Some sing out loud on the telephone wire,
Some just clap their hands or paws or anything they got.
[Repeat Chorus]
Well listen to the bass its the one on the bottom,
Where the bullfrog croaks and the hippopotamus,
moans and groans with a big to do,
And the old cow just goes moo.
The dogs and the cats, they take up the middle,
Where the honeybee hums and the cricket fiddles,
The donkey brays and the pony neighs,
And the old gray badger sighs.
[Chorus]
Listen to the top with the little birds singing,
And the melodies and the high notes ringing,
And the hoot-owl cries over everything,
And the blackbird disagrees.
Singing in the night time singing in the day,
And the little duck quacks and he's on his way,
And the otter hasn't got much to say,
And the porcupine talks to himself.
[Chorus]
Its a simple song living song everywhere,
By the ox and the fox and the grizzly bear,
The grumpy alligator and the hawk above,
The sly old weasel and the turtledove.

Theresa Winchester recently sent this letter to Justin Trudeau and to her MP.
I will send a copy to my own MP as well. I encourage others to copy and also send to their MP, with a handwritten note on Theresa's letter. Something like this:
"I agree with the author of this letter to the PM. There is no Charter right to abortion in Canada".

Icon of Our Lady of Persecuted Christians at Annunciation of the Lord Parish, Ottawa, ON
Thanks to our Knights of Columbus, Council 2008, the Icon of Our Lady of Persecuted Christians will be present in our Church for veneration from Monday November 19th, to Sunday, November 25th. All are welcome to spend time with the Icon during the week. Prayer cards are available.
When I arrived at our Church for our Monday evening Prayer Meeting last evening around 7:10, I noticed the beautiful icon was already installed in the Church and there were several parishioners from Nazareth Family Living praying before Our Lord Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, so I stayed for a short time and prayed as well. A young lady was singing and playing lovely worship music on the piano and Father Dan Dubroy was hearing confessions. It was all very beautiful
Our Prayer Meeting is every Monday at 7:30 so last night Joan our Leader suggested we pray silently in the Church with the Nazareth Group who had organized this time of adoration . This is an opportunity you just don't want to pass up.
Thank you Lord for this very special time
