Perpetual Adoration - World Centre of Prayer for Peace in Niepokalanów
The creation of the Chapel was for many years the desire of the monastery and parish community, as well as pilgrims visiting this special place. Initially, it was expected that it would be a chapel serving the local communities and pilgrims.
Design work commenced, commissioning the altar to Drapikowski Studio from Gdańsk. The concept of the altar arose. However, God's providence had other plans. In 2017, the letter of St. Maximilian and read it in the context of the resulting altar design. Already in 1934 Saint. Father Kolbe wrote from Japan to Poland:
"I imagine the beautiful figure of the Immaculate Virgin in a great altar, and against it a monstrance between outstretched hands in the continuous display of the Blessed Sacrament." That was the shape of the altar's conceptual design. This extraordinary event was the direct reason why the Communita Regina della Pace Association proposed in November 2017 that the eighth star should find its place in Niepokalanów.
Father Provincial Wiesław Pyzio agreed to this. Implementation of the project was commenced, which required carrying out a number of construction works and employing many contractors, and the chapel had to be organized from scratch, because the sacristy had been in this room before.
The works were complicated and difficult because they could not disturb Masses and services held in the basilica.

Urgently Needed - Eucharistic Processions - Eucharistic Adoration
"Our own belief is that the renovation of the world will be brought about only by the Holy Eucharist."
- Pope Leo XIII
"Christ's love for us: behold the Eucharist!
Love that gives itself, love that remains, love that communicates itself, love that multiples itself, love that sacrifices itself. The Eucharist is the love that unites us and the love that saves us."
Pope Paul VI
"Pius X knew no other road than the Eucharist by which he could arrive at heroism in his love of God. He knew no other road by which he could return to the Redeemer of the world, Who by means of the Eucharist poured out the wealth of His Divine love on humans."
Pope Pius X11
" Be witnesses to the love of the Eucharistic Christ, a love that spurs us on to unlimited generosity. It also spurs us on to total surrender to Him, and through Him to all those who seek Him with a true heart."
Pope John Paul 11
"What the world really asks of us is that the Mystery of Redemption be accessible to all, especially to the poor, the sick, children, the young, the family. It is precisely through the Eucharist that Christ's Redemption touches each person's heart, transforming the world's history."
Pope John Paul 11

12 Stars in the Crown of Mary Queen of Peace
The work of creating the Chapel of Perpetual Peace of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Niepokalanów was started in 2017.
Father Kolbe wrote from Japan to Poland: "I imagine a beautiful figure of the Immaculate Virgin in a great altar, and against it a monstrance in the open exposition of the Blessed Sacrament."
That was the shape of the altar's conceptual design. This unusual event was a direct reason why the Communita Regina della Pace Association proposed in November 2017 that the eighth star should find its place in Niepokalanów. Father Provincial Wiesław Pyzio agreed to this. Implementation of the project was commenced, which required carrying out a number of construction works and employing many contractors, and the chapel had to be organized from scratch, because the sacristy had been in this room before. The works were complicated and difficult because they could not interfere with Masses and services held in the basilica.
However, no material work was the essence of the enterprise. His main goal, realized with full determination, was to build a spiritual chapel in the hearts of people. From the beginning, the basis of the undertaking was prayer, selfless prayer offered from the heart of people. Especially the parishioners of the Immaculate Order, but also the support of people from all over the country and even from the world was felt. The common goal of seeking peace in the hearts of people united all.
At the same time, intentions were collected from all donors, which were carefully collected, packed into a steel cassette and placed in the steps of the altar of adoration. These intentions, prayers and thanksgiving will stay here forever, as a sign of faith of the people involved in this undertaking. It is also the greatest gift for the generations who will make their prayers in this chapel. Lastly, the intention was made to pray for those who would pray in the chapel. As Saint wrote Maximilian: "whoever looks into the church, falls on his knees, adores, looks at the face of the Immaculate Virgin, goes away, and she and Jesus deal with him."
The essence of prayer for peace is its continuity in the world, independent of time zone, place and circumstances. Prayer is to flow constantly and change people's hearts so that they are full of peace. The Lord says: I will give you a new heart and a new spirit inside you, I will take a stone heart from you and I will give you a heart of flesh. Ezek 36.26.

Good Friday - Via Dolorosa ( called the Way of Suffering )
The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street
But the crowd pressed into see
The man condemned to die on Calvary.
He was bleeding from a beating - there were stripes upon His back
And He wore a crown of thorns upon his head
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for his death.
Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa all the way to Calvary.
The blood that would cleanse the souls of all men
Made its way through the heart of Jerusalem.
Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road out of his love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary

Run With Life: We know the world is upside down when this happens...
Run With Life: We know the world is upside down when this happens...: The Coronavirus is here. We have people dying all over the world from this horrible pandemic. The world is shut down because of it. Financial markets are in free fall. People have lost their jobs. People of faith are prevented from attending their Church services, their Mosques and their Synagogues. Catholic Christians are prevented from receiving the sacraments including reconciliation, baptisms and the sacraments of the sick for the dying. We can't even enter our churches for private prayer, even if we follow all the social distancing rules.
So what are the pro-abortions up to here in Canada? Unlike many US states, Canada is pathetically still performing abortions. None of the rules the rest of us have to follow apply to killing babies.
In fact the Abortion Rights Coalition of Canada has put out a fundraising call for Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights.

April 6 2020 - Poland's Response
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 New International Version
Holy Week 2020 - Monday - excerpts from the Mystical City of God
I received this message this morning ( below ) from Father Hezuk Shroff. Pastor Saint Catherine of Sienna Parish Metcalfe ON Canada.
" I have put together a PDF document containing excerpts from the Venerable Mary of Agreda's beautiful work, "The Mystical City of God." The title refers to the Virgin Mary, who is the Mystical City in which God dwells more fully than in any other place. Venerable Mary of Agreda was a Spanish nun who lived in the 16th century. Her private revelations are approved by the Catholic Church.
I thought that you might find this useful for your meditation during Holy Week. The passages in this document speak about the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Our Lord. They are from an abridged version of the Saint's work. The full version contains four volumes and is much longer. This excerpt is from the third volume, called "The Transfixion", which is a reference to Our Lady's Dolorous Heart that was pierced ("transfixed") by a sword during the Passion of her Son.
Please feel free to pass this along to anyone who you think might be interested and who might profit from it during this Holy Week. This text is out of copyright, so it can be freely distributed.
God bless!'
-Fr. Shroff
