is a copy of the document which prompted Mayor Jim Watson to remove the Pro Life flag at City Hall on May 11, the day of the National March for Life . Even though this document is a lie, unbelievably it was signed by 7 councillors before being presented to the mayor. Actually, maybe it’s not
so unbelievable since so many of our political leaders don’t seem to care about truth anymore
. We see it everywhere and in all levels of government .
My letter to the Mayor

Dear Mr Watson,
I
was very disappointed when you felt you had to apologize for the Pro Life flag
being raised at City Hall. You said people complained about it. Does this mean that if I have a problem with a
particular flag that, I can complain about it and you will bring it down ?
Many Canadians believe that there
should be restrictions on abortion and a majority of young Canadians say abortions should not be legal
after 12 weeks gestation. This is
according to the findings of an Environics poll commissioned in 2013 by Life Canada, the national educational

I’m
sure Mr. Watson that you are aware that
the unborn child is able to feel pain at

Thank you. We believe in the
dignity and sanctity of all human life whether born or preborn, regardless of
age, sex, race or creed . We are Pro Life!
Currently in Canada the law is that it is ok to kill a
child in the womb up until the moment of birth. Obviously you and the 7
councillors are ok with this.
You talk about a woman’s right to choose, which in itself
is false because there is no such right to have an abortion in Canada. But I’m sure you know that too. http://www.morgentalerdecision.ca/1988-decision// If a woman chooses to have a baby and her unborn child
is killed through violence from a spouse
or a boyfriend then her right to choose to have her child has been taken away from her and you’re ok
with that? Well it seems you are. .
And
if a woman is coerced into having an abortion by a boyfriend, relative or
whomever, well you’re obviously ok with that as well. And what about sex
selection abortion, do you think that’s ok too?
You see Mr.Watson, pro life MP’s
have been working tirelessly on Bills and Motions that would help prevent
these atrocities but every step of the way people like yourself have thwarted
these efforts even though millions of Canadians want some restrictions on abortion.
And many more Canadians I am sure, would want restrictions on abortions too, if
they knew the truth about abortion which sadly is being kept from them by media
bias not to mention some of our Government leaders. I don’t know how many times
I have heard the lie from our leaders that it is a woman’s right to choose.
I
think your time spent lowering the flag would have been better spent ensuring
that the 14,000 peaceful Marchers were
permitted to take the designated, approved, March for Life route which goes
by the human Rights Monument .It seems
that there were as many police as there were rowdy vulgar protesters who were there
preventing us from passing the Monument . Mr Watson, this was a violation of
our right to hold a peaceful, approved demonstration.
In closing, The Right to Life is the first of all human
rights. Without the right to life there
can be no other rights
