Armed Forces prayer ban - Father Tim Nelligan Responds - Spiritual Neutrality is Void of Soul

FR. TIM IN THE NEWS! The Canadian Armed Forces issued the following directive on July 29th: CANFORGEN 141/26 (Canadian Armed Forces Military Personnel Instructions 03/26 — Spiritual reflections in military settings) directing chaplains delivering public remarks to avoid using faith-specific words, rituals or symbols, including prayer.

The National Post’s article https://nationalpost.com/news/directives-to-military-chaplains-urge-expunging-god-religion-from-remembrance-day-public-ceremonies Directives to military chaplains urge expunging God, religion from Remembrance Day, public ceremonies notes the “directive urges chaplains to 'adopt a sensitive and inclusive approach' during public addresses.”

Fr. Tim immediately sprung into action defending the Faith and the freedom to practice it, especially for military chaplains. His article entitled: Armed forces prayer ban: Spiritual neutrality is void of soul appeared here in the Catholic Register and subsequently covered by the Toronto Sun.
