Now in its 36^th year, the Canadian Life Chain took place across ~375 locations, with every province and territory once again represented, with the exception of Nunavut.

Buoyed by lovely weather in most areas, an estimated 15,000+ participated, most on Sunday, October 4, but some on the surrounding days.

Many Life Chain organizers reported an increase in positive responses and/or that they outnumbered negative ones. Life Chain participants in one British Columbian city were treated to free snacks and drinks by a nearby local business.

At the same time, more counter-protests were planned than last year. This opposition fueled considerable debate about the abortion issue and free speech on social media, further extending the reach of the pro-life message.

Below are over 100 photos offering a peak into what the 2026 Life Chain looked like from the Pacific to the Atlantic.

The next Life Chain will be on Sunday, October 3, 2027.
