See the architectural compound of Santa Cova, the Sanctuary home of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuits, when he stayed in the city. Later arrive at Barcelona, the lively capital of Catalonia

Saint Ignatius's Prayer of Surrender

Take, O Lord, and receive
my entire liberty, my memory,
my understanding and my entire will.
All that I am and all that I possess,
Thou hast given me:
I surrender it all to Thee
to be disposed of
according to Thy will.
Give me only Thy love and Thy grace;
with these, I will be rich enough
and will desire nothing more.
Amen.

We attended Vespers this morning with the monks. It was beautiful. Pat

We saw the Spanish Black Madonna.

I lit candles for all our intentions. Pat

Pilgrims waiting for Mass

"At Mass, the boys' choir sang. Beautiful. These boys ages 8 - 14 come here to attend school. And become part of the choir." Pat

Montserrat. And Michel the birthday boy.
We are above the clouds now. Pat

"I did not take pictures pictures going up or down the mountain. Precipitous cliffs and hairpin turns. There was no way I was going to watch the scenery." No way at all. Pat

Happy Birthday Michel!!!🎈🎂

Manresa where St Ignatius is said to have written his spiritual exercises.

The cave is now surrounded by the building you see in the picture.
The bridge was built in the 1200s.
