As Pat and I and Paula and Barb spent the weekend at Pat's cottage in beautiful Lanark Highlands we were not able to attend the Chain where we usually do which is at the corner of Montreal Road and Saint Laurent Blvd. However, we prayed the rosary for all those affected by abortion during the weekend. Annual Day of Public Witness for Children Killed by Abortion
Life Chain is held simultaneously in almost 300 locations across Canada each year.
Sunday, October 2, 2022, from 2-3 pm in most locations. See locations here.
A small pro-life group called Please Let Me Live in Yuba City, California held the first Life Chain in 1987, and the United States has had a National Life Chain every year since. Over 30 years ago, in 1990, Campaign Life Coalition brought Life Chain into Canada from the U.S., igniting a powerful public witness in our country that has endured the test of years, saved lives, and changed hearts.
"It is very important to show our recognition of the sanctity of human life from the first moment of conception to natural death. I fully support Lifechain, which seeks to do this." ~His Eminence Thomas Cardinal Collins
