Happy Canada Day and Sir John A MacDonald's Unrealized Legacy

two Canada Day Articles to instill hope for our Country

from Life Canada https://lifecanada.org/

Original English words to our national anthem by Robert Stanley Weir from 1908, written after the French original lyrics and music were composed.

Since 1908 amid great prosperity, love, and LIFE we have also faced world wars, internal strife, separation from England, a transformation of law, education, and democratic processes, inflation, famine, and strife.

Yet these words keep us focused.

The last verse

Ruler Supreme, Who hearest humble prayer,
Hold our dominion within Thy loving care.
Help us to find, O God, in Thee
A lasting, rich reward,
As waiting for the Better Day,
We ever stand on guard.

JOHN A. MACDONALD SAVED MORE INDIGENOUS LIVES THAN ANY OTHER PRIME MINISTER
GREG PIASETZKI Greg Piasetzki is a Toronto lawyer and citizen of the Métis Nation of Ontario.

This chapter excerpt is from the Aristotle Foundation’s new book, The 1867 Project: Why Canada Should be Cherished—not Cancelled, edited by Mark Milke. · Jul 1, 2023

IF MACDONALD’S STORY HAS CHANGED, IT IS BECAUSE CANADIAN SOCIETY NO LONGER UNDERSTANDS ITS OWN HISTORY. (JOHN A.) MACDONALD WAS CONSIDERED A NATION-BUILDER. — GREG PIASETZKI

Given that he died in 1891, the facts of Sir John A. Macdonald’s life are unchangeable. The story of his life, however, has changed dramatically. For most of Canada’s history, Macdonald was considered a nation-builder worthy of celebration and veneration. Today he is a war criminal, at least to hear some tell it. But a proper and balanced consideration of Macdonald’s life reveals that, through his own actions and policies, Canada’s first prime minister was directly and deliberately responsible for saving the lives of untold numbers of Indigenous people. Given the temper of our times, this is not likely to be a popular notion. But that does not make it any less true.

Sky News Australia host slams ‘idiot’ parents pushing trans agenda

Yeah in the days of sanity, these exhibitionists would have been arrested on the spot. Now it's reversed. If you complain then you're arrested, thrown in jail, and probably with a big fine, charged with hate speech and you lose your job. It's unbelievable.

Trudeau's internet takeover is well under way - and cruel treatment of our military under Trudeau during covid

In this Episode

  1. Trudeau's Internet takeover is well underway -
  2. and the cruel treatment of our military under Trudeau during covid

  1. Bill C-18 – one of Justin Trudeau's internet regulation bills – is now law, prompting Facebook to ban news so as to avoid having to pay out media outlets. While Facebook made the decision to block news links, True North's Andrew Lawton points out that the whole thing is Trudeau's fault, as he's the one who thinks Big Tech needs to subsidize the legacy media.

  1. " 330 active duty and former members of the Canadians Armed Forces have joined a proposed mass tort action lawsuit against the Canadian military over the vaccine mandate that either coerced vaccination or forced CAF members out of service. Valour Law lawyer Catherine Christensen joins the Andrew Lawton Show to discuss the case...
From the Interview with Catherine Christensen

"These were the 300 who stood up in October 2021, They have remained steadfast, and they want to hold the Chief of Defense Staff and the Canadian Armed Forces to Account for abusing their powers so the decision was made by the group that they would proceed with a Mass Tort rather than a class action

Some chose to leave and some were forced to leave under a voluntary release.

But there was a large group of them discharged under what is called an SF  (Unsuitable for further service.) This is the release category if you are a drunk or a drug addict who won't get rehabilitated, if you are a domestic violence offender, or if you have been found guilty of sexual assault; this is the category they released these people under.

So it wasn't just the fact that they chose to lose their jobs, when they lost their jobs they lost them under what used to be called a dishonorable discharge and in fact, several members of the chain of command told them because it was a dishonorable discharge there were implications, for example, they can't enroll in the Canadian Armed Forces without the permission of the Chief of Defence Staff and they would have to wait 5 years.

This is a real black mark on their records"

Catherine Christensen

The legal term "tort" is defined as a wrongful act that causes injury to another. A mass tort, therefore, is wrong, usually committed by a large corporation, that injures many people.
