Fatima - Braga - Santiago De Compostela, Spain

Leaving Fatima

Yesterday Pat left all of the prayer intentions

that everyone gave her at the shrine of Fatima.

She will do it again at Lourdes and possibly other shrines as well

To God be Glory forever

from Pat below

" This morning I walked to the shrine.
There was an English Mass being said as I arrived at the consecration. What a blessing.
I would have received communion except I had already eaten a banana. Too bad.
On the bus now. I lead the Rosary. Another blessing.
A beautiful picture of the Holy Family was displayed in one of the shops.
St Lucia, St. Jacinta, and St. Francisco pray for us." Pat

Journey North and stopping in Braga, one of the oldest Christian cities in the world Sanctuary of Bom Jesu de Monte, UNESCO World Heritage Site
and Pilgrim Destination where devout followers have walked the Stations of the Cross for contemplation and penance since 1981

Fr. John Likozar, Pat Maloney,Grazyna Taracha
( I noticed during our pilgrimage to Poland that the Companions ðŸ˜‡ are good at taking selfies )

Continuing  to Spain to Santiago de Compostela one of the most significant pilgrimage destinations since the middle ages

Burial place of Saint James

  • The pilgrimage route to Compostelais is graced with an exceptional witness from its early days: the Liber Sancti Jacobi or Book of Saint James. This book is found most famously in a twelfth-century manuscript from the library of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, as well as in various other manuscripts.

Day 6 - Tuesday, September 12th, 2023

Pat on her early morning walk
"Our hotel at Santiago de Compostela is pretty luxurious. The homes on this narrow road adjacent to the hotel have either high fences or hedges and locked gates. Nice and quiet in the early morning." Pat

The Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary
The original church building
that was built between 1928 and 1954.

Grazyna and Pat prayed the Rosary
for the prayer intentions they brought on their journey.
Pat led the Rosary in English and Grazyna responded in Polish.

The graves of Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco
are in the church.

Lucia and Jacinta are on the left-hand side at the front of the church. Francisco is on the right-hand side of the church.

A Basilica was also built at the site,
the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity.
This church is very large but is very plain looking.

Michael Higgins: Truth ignored as teacher fired for saying TB caused residential school deaths

The Truth doesn't matter anymore in Canada. In view of the recent findings re. So-called "Mass Graves" I am almost certain that we won't hear anything about it from our Legacy Media.  There is no room for a teacher to state obvious facts if it isn't in line with the lies that are perpetuated to suit a really sinister agenda Maureen

Six months ago After four decades as a teacher, Jim McMurtryteacher was fired by the Abbotsford District School Board for saying that the deaths in residential schools were largely caused by TB and other diseases, which is backed up by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission report

His comment in response to one of his students is what caused Mr. McMurtry's immediate removal from the school

A student said priests had murdered and tortured the children at the school and then left them to die in the snow. McMurtry pointed out that most children at residential schools died from disease, primarily tuberculosis.

“I wasn’t trying to be inflammatory,” said McMurtry in an interview. “It was one comment. It was not done with callousness.”

It took one complaint, and before the hour was out McMurtry was being frog-marched out of the school.

After four decades as a teacher, Jim McMurtry was fired Tuesday for daring to speak out.

One would hope that this truth would be taught in every school. But that’s not the truth the Abbotsford District School Board cares about

New Developments on Mass Graves Found in Canadian Residential Schools | ...

You won't hear this from our lying legacy Media. No way.
They vilified the Oblates and all Christians with stories of mass killings of children and based on what exactly: absolutely nothing. And if anyone questioned this. Well you know how it goes and still does

From EWTN

There are new developments regarding a 2021 story out of Canada. Reports then said there were mass graves of indigenous children found at residential schools in the North American country. Some of those schools were run by the Catholic Church. According to a new report, the recent excavation of 14 alleged burial sites unearthed no human remains. EWTN News Vatican Correspondent, Colm Flynn, joins us to refresh our memories about the claims made in Canada back in 2021 and how they affected the Holy Father's visit there. Flynn discusses what the reaction has been around the world to the developments that no human remains were found. He takes us back to 2021 and fills us in on how the allegations came to light in the first place
